[2024/03/17 14:24] Sonja Bikergrrl: It's early afternoon when you leave the city; and it's early evening with the sun getting ready to set as you reach the Rising Sun Inn. Its' a large barn-like building with big windows, two stories high, a small stable out the back for horses - and a stump of a post, clearly recently hacked down outside.

[2024/03/17 14:28] Sonja Bikergrrl: The barkeeper nods, and looks to Mecha. "Food? We got green grankit, fancy a plate?"

[2024/03/17 14:29] Mecha: Never heard of it but sure.
[2024/03/17 14:29] Sonja Bikergrrl: That'll be six coppers, friends!
[2024/03/17 14:30] Mecha: Tosses a gold to cover everyone and then tips a silver from the change
[2024/03/17 14:30] Sonja Bikergrrl: The barkeeper shouts an order over his shoulder, starts calculating change and pours two stouts into tankards

[2024/03/17 14:32] Jack: "sounds appetizing, i will have a plate also
[2024/03/17 14:32] Sonja Bikergrrl: As he pours out the stouts, the barkeeper says, "We had a most bizarre thing happen the other night."
[2024/03/17 14:33] Kylie: Oh do tell us more barkeep
[2024/03/17 14:33] Sonja Bikergrrl: Barkeep: "The other night, I woke up hearing small, fell creatures outside chittering and chattering. I went back to sleep, and in the morning saw that our sign had been stolen! It is strange that foul creatures would come to raid, and only steal our sign, no? Perhaps... if you see it on your travels, you might return it to us?"
[2024/03/17 14:34] Jack: "What did these creatures look like, or was it too dark?"
[2024/03/17 14:35] Sonja Bikergrrl: The barkeeper shrugs. "Small dark creatures, friend."
[2024/03/17 14:36] Mecha: If we see the sign we will do what we can
[2024/03/17 14:37] Jack: "They could be midgets for all we know"
[2024/03/17 14:37] Sonja Bikergrrl: should be easy to find, it's a bloody big sign, they'd have left a trail anyone can follow, surely

[2024/03/17 14:39] Sonja Bikergrrl: Barkeeper: "Excellent! If you promise to go find the sign tomorrow, I can let you stay tonight, on the house. It's getting late, after all."

[2024/03/17 14:44] Sonja Bikergrrl: In the clear light of day - you can indeed easily see the trail of a sign dragged away. It looks like it goes into some hills off the road a ways.
[2024/03/17 14:45] Jack: "I'd say that's the way we should go, are you all in?"
[2024/03/17 14:45] Kylie: Let's go to the hills and get the leprecon, or midget fraternaty kids or whatever
[2024/03/17 14:46] Mecha: /me nods. "Sooner we find it, sooner we find this Weatherwax, sooner we get thetobacco back
[2024/03/17 14:46] Sonja Bikergrrl: The trail leads to the hills, alright... there's a small cliff... and someone can roll a d4 for me
[2024/03/17 14:47] Sonja Bikergrrl: At the cliff, there's what looks like an eroded, weathered stone doorway, with a large pair of obviously broken wooden doors ajar. You can see two goblins wandering about, clearly squinting in the sunshine.

[2024/03/17 15:39] Mecha: Move carefully, we don't know what traps might be around
