[2025/11/26 15:43] Sapphire: She sighs tiredly. "Yes. Before someone else thinks they can take over this whole island."

[2025/11/26 15:44] Sonja Bikergrrl: It's a long walk back. But you're received as heroes, villagers line the streets cheering and throwing hats in the air.
[2025/11/26 15:44] Sonja Bikergrrl: Near the tavern, you see Al Cohol, looking quite blackened and with her hair all standing on end. Beside her, a ladder is propped up against the wall. "Drinks are on the house!" she says.
[2025/11/26 15:45] Sapphire: Te'ala is honestly stunned by this reception, left blinking rapidly in shock.
[2025/11/26 15:45] Sonja Bikergrrl: ironic word detected
[2025/11/26 15:45] Sapphire: ....she then looks up at the roof for bar glasses.
[2025/11/26 15:46] Sonja Bikergrrl: you're going up the ladder?

[2025/11/26 15:48] Sonja Bikergrrl: Up on the roof, a table, with a table cloth. Bartholomew is there, and Melody Wraith, and villagers, and the wererat from the very first adventure. Almost everyone you have interacted with, is in fact there, even a few of the hobgoblins. Bartholomew lifts a tankard of ale. "The heroes!"

[2025/11/26 15:50] Sonja Bikergrrl: There is indeed a space and an ale waiting for you.
[2025/11/26 15:50] Sapphire: She moves to accept a seat, sipping at the ale.
[2025/11/26 15:50] Sonja Bikergrrl: Al pauses, her hands seem to shimmer faintly with a subtle copper hue. Suddenly, a faint glow radiates from her form, and her posture shifts with a graceful fluidity. Her human features elongate and refine, scales of gleaming copper flickering across her skin like molten metal caught in the light. Her eyes widen into brilliant amber, shimmering with intelligence and mischief, as a pair of elegant, curved horns emerge from her brow, and a long, sinuous tail gently sways behind her.

[2025/11/26 15:53] Sonja Bikergrrl: Bartholomew leans over. "No, that much was real. You really defeated an evil wizard."

[2025/11/26 15:54] Sonja Bikergrrl: The dragon grins. "Names' Cyprius. You defeated an evil wizard, certainly... but I had to have -some- fun along the way. Or, well... a lot of fun."
[2025/11/26 15:55] Sapphire: "I... suppose I'm glad you enjoyed yourself."
[2025/11/26 15:56] Sonja Bikergrrl: Cyprius grins. "And you got a cure! Anyway... I guess it's time for you to go home. We can fly there, if you like. I think you deserve a flight for being such great sports, and all."
[2025/11/26 15:56] Mecha: Lahli: Got to admit it was stressful, but it was fun as well. this is the kind of prank I can appreciate, but wait. We were not from here to begin with. Did you somehow bring us here?"
[2025/11/26 15:57] Sapphire: She pauses, remembering the big storm that broke their ship in the first place.
[2025/11/26 15:57] Sonja Bikergrrl: Cyprius: "I saw your ship approach and get wrecked. I directed the villagers to pick you up, then, figured a few pranks wouldn't hurt before we dealt with the Black Wizard."
[2025/11/26 15:58] Sapphire: "So that's how this village avoids having a king over them...."
[2025/11/26 15:59] Sonja Bikergrrl: Cyprius just grins, rather toothily.
[2025/11/26 15:59] Mecha: Lahli pauses and thinks. "Considering what I have back there... Can I stay? Make it harder for certain people to find me."
[2025/11/26 16:00] Sonja Bikergrrl: Cyprius grins more broadly. "If that's what you want. When we don't have wizards trying to take the place over, it's actually quite peaceful. Lots of ale and bards in the taverns."
[2025/11/26 16:00] Sapphire: "I need to get this cure back to home." Te'ala says.
[2025/11/26 16:01] Sonja Bikergrrl: Cyprius looks to Sapphire. "We can fly. Just climb on my back."
[2025/11/26 16:01] Mecha: I'm just gonna spread the word of the Traveler while here
[2025/11/26 16:01] Sonja Bikergrrl: Cyprius nods and says to Lahli: "I'll SEE YOU later, then."
[2025/11/26 16:02] Mecha: Lahli looks at Te'ala. Can you take Andreas with you... please.
[2025/11/26 16:02] Sapphire: Te'ala, deciding not question why Cyprius is staring into the fourth wall, sets her ale down and moves to head out. "...That's really up to Andreas."
[2025/11/26 16:03] Sonja Bikergrrl: Cyprius waits for Te'ala to climb aboard.
[2025/11/26 16:03] Sapphire: she does so
[2025/11/26 16:05] Sonja Bikergrrl: Te'ala gets comfy, and Ruby perches on her shoulder. Cyprius flies out over the beach, the blue sea stretching ahead. Beyond, Britannia, across the sea... which is tilting to one side, as Cyprius banks and turns about, flying over the land again, over the vast forest.

[2025/11/26 16:05] Sapphire: Te'ala finally relaxes her shoulders and waves back. Hopefully the stressful parts of her adventures are behind her...

[2025/11/26 16:09] Sonja Bikergrrl: Cyprius grins over her shoulder. "You had a quest, didn't you? To get a plank of Soarwood?"
[2025/11/26 16:09] Mecha: *While you two talk, this one is gonna be right back. Gotta make some dinner*
[2025/11/26 16:10] Sapphire: "I suppose I did, yes." She admits. "It would be unfortunate to break my word needlessl.y"
[2025/11/26 16:11] Sonja Bikergrrl: Ahead, there's some trees... which look like they're literally growing in the air. Roots dangle down, as the trees literally just... hover. These would be Soarwood trees. Cyprius dives for one, snatches the trunk and wheels round again. "Will a whole tree do? Come on, let's get you home!" Once again, she banks in a wide arc and flaps her wings, climbing and heading East over the shining sea.
[2025/11/26 16:12] Sapphire: For what might be the first time in months, Te'ala actually smiles at that.
[2025/11/26 16:12] Sonja Bikergrrl: If you look back, you can see a big green giant shaking his fist, while beside him... if you're eagle eyed... you see a small figure, a leprechaun, holding his sides and laughing
[2025/11/26 16:12] Sonja Bikergrrl: Cyprius looks over her shoulder with a toothy grin. "I hope you enjoyed this! But now the campaign is over, I'll ... maybe... SEE YOU later! Geddit? SEE YOU! C U! Cu! The chemical symbol for copper! HA HA HA!"
