A crude tunnel has been dug into the mound (horizontally) through earth and then a thick stone wall. On ground level but under the mound is a roughly oval chamber, 20' long and 10' wide.
[2025/06/05 15:16] Sonja Bikergrrl: The ceremonial sacrifice room within the burial mound is dimly lit by the lanterns mounted on the walls. The air is heavy with the scent of incense mingled with damp earth, creating an atmosphere steeped in reverence and foreboding. In the center lies a circular stone altar, weathered and adorned with intricate carvings; surrounding the altar are scattered remnants of precious artifacts: once-finely crafted weapons, and ornate armour, all scattered, corroded, rusted and quite useless. The walls are decorated with murals depicting past rituals, their vivid colors fading but still resonant with the power of history. At one end, a darkened alcove, empty now.
