A farmer sits to one side, surrounded by a few others, muttering to himself. And behind the bar, grinning from ear to ear, is the tavern owner, Al.

Three plates go before Te'ala, Lahli and Andreas: eggs cooked with thin slices of beef and a little bit of cayenne. Salt and pepper according to taste. The fourth plate, to Martina, bears a rather well-done steak.

[2025/04/17 14:55] Sonja Bikergrrl: Seated at a rough-hewn wooden table in the dimly lit tavern, a puzzled-looking farmer, his weathered face framed by a fraying straw hat, furrows his brow as he stares into a half-finished tankard of ale. His calloused hands fidget with the hem of his tattered cloak, and his muddy boots rest awkwardly on the floor as he mutters about bizarre occurrences on his farm - the sudden appearance of glowing crops and eerie sounds in the night. Surrounding him at a distance, other patrons whisper in hushed tones, casting glances his way, while the crackling fire casts flickering shadows that seem to dance with the confusion in his eyes, mirroring his uncertainty in understanding what strange magic may have taken hold of his once - familiar farm.
