[2025/04/10 14:23] Sonja Bikergrrl: Strange figure: "Enough for us to hole up down here!"

[2025/04/10 14:23] Andreas: /me "I'm not gonna try to open another bottle, we all know it tastes like rat piss. So kittens, show me your skills" giggles and taps the tip of the spear next to one of the holes in the wall. "So what's the plan? Fire?"
[2025/04/10 14:25] Sonja Bikergrrl: Strange figure: "a stranger came to warn us of an up-coming sweep of the sewers to clear out the vermin, and the stranger led us to the cellars we now reside in, under the tavern. All we can tell of the stranger is they were a cloaked and hooded figure."
[2025/04/10 14:25] Sapphire: Te'ala moves to grab Andreas by the shoulder. "You are going to behave and let us talk this out like adults."
[2025/04/10 14:26] Mecha: Lahli ponders. If we can distract the rat catchers can you find an underground way out?"
[2025/04/10 14:27] Sonja Bikergrrl: Strange figure: "Hardly... how am I supposed to go underground?"
[2025/04/10 14:28] Sapphire: "Or the forest? It seems like that or a ship are your natural options out of here." She continues, relaxing her grip. Not that it's very strong to start with.
[2025/04/10 14:29] Sonja Bikergrrl: Strange figure: "There's a ruined tower outside the city limits, it'd be ideal - if we could just get there."
[2025/04/10 14:31] Sapphire: "How far is it?

[2025/04/10 14:32] Sonja Bikergrrl: Strange figure - shrugs - "I am not sure. Maybe a mile? Once you get to the city limits."
[2025/04/10 14:33] Sapphire: She nods, considering this. "We could check the tower out, confirm it's abandoned and usable for your people."
[2025/04/10 14:33] Mecha: Lahli looks at him. "never mind i thought you took a path through the sewers to come here. was trying to figure a way you could take that route out

[2025/04/10 14:47] Sonja Bikergrrl: The stranger stands, hand resting on the hilt of his sword, sniffing slightly, in the shadow of his hood

[2025/04/10 14:48] Sonja Bikergrrl: Strange figure: "We tried that, and there were cats and rat catchers!"

[2025/04/10 14:49] Sapphire: "On masse? This time we'd be there to talk things through." She pauses. "....are these cats the sort to talk things out?"

[2025/04/10 15:09] Sapphire: "Yes, we're working on taking out our current efforts to outside town before it makes a mess," she misdirects.

[2025/04/10 15:10] Mecha: Limps up behind the group."Yeah I.. I noticed"

[2025/04/10 15:11] Sonja Bikergrrl: Al turns back to a customer, then stops, and looks back. "Didn't three of you go down.... and now there's four of you?"

[2025/04/10 15:12] Sapphire: Te'ala works on keeping moving instead of getting trapped in an extended conversation.
[2025/04/10 15:12] Sonja Bikergrrl: Al: "Oh. Right, makes sense. Well! SEE YOU later!" She turns back to the customer.

[2025/04/10 15:13] Sonja Bikergrrl: Now you exit the tavern... it's about 8pm local time. You've only a half hour walk to the city gates... what could possibly go right?

[2025/04/10 15:33] Sonja Bikergrrl: And so you pass by the third obstacle in your way... and the city gates are looming ahead.... along with the city guards on watch. They look up as you approach. "Who goes there?"

[2025/04/10 15:34] Sonja Bikergrrl: City guard: "Foragers, eh? Are you carrying any goods or items that might be restricted?"
[2025/04/10 15:35] Mecha: No, we are going out to forage to bring back to town. IN town foraging is stealing isn't it?
[2025/04/10 15:35] Sonja Bikergrrl: City Guard: "You got a smart mouth on you, lady! Have you been involved in any recent disturbances or criminal activities within the city?"
[2025/04/10 15:36] Sapphire: "I have not," she replies simply, noting this town seems quite paranoid.
[2025/04/10 15:37] Mecha: Not trying to be a smart mouth, just saying, but no sir nothing of the sort." She shows her religious symbol. Apologies if I came across wrong."
[2025/04/10 15:37] Sonja Bikergrrl: City Guard: "Hmm. Well. Careful out there, there's an army of trolls headed this way, after all. And it's a copper to get back in, citizen."

[2025/04/10 15:38] Sonja Bikergrrl: And without further problems, you make it to the old ruined tower. Probably an old grain silo or something from a long-lost farm, it not stands tall, ruined, and quite deserted.

[2025/04/10 15:42] Sapphire: Te'ala unclips her basket, turns it over and taps the underside, then starts looking around for mushrooms and other foragables.
[2025/04/10 15:42] Sonja Bikergrrl: Strange figure: bows awkwardly. "I thank you, for your help. If you need any help in future, please come seek me out. And, I left a chest of treasure back in the cellar, that is yours to keep."
[2025/04/10 15:44] Andreas: /me nods looking at the strangly bowed figure. "So, which way now, run and hide or back to city?"
[2025/04/10 15:44] Sonja Bikergrrl: Strange figure: "I'll live here with my tribe, of course."
[2025/04/10 15:44] Sapphire: "It will look suspicious if we immediately return empty handed."
[2025/04/10 15:45] Sonja Bikergrrl: Sapphire: you find all sorts of berries, flowers, fungi.
