[2026/08/04 14:56] Sapphire: Taggart lands to the ground in a pile of dirt, slowly sitting up and holding his head.
[2026/08/04 14:56] Mecha: Sarah sighs."No, she and I disagreed on rules of war and had a conflict. She has switched sides as far as I know."
[2026/08/04 14:57] Sonja Bikergrrl: Olivar freezes, trying to keep his face neutral. On the other hand, no Syra. It's an ill wind that blows no good.
[2026/08/04 14:57] Sonja Bikergrrl: Olivar: "You... disagreed...? And had a conflict...?"
[2026/08/04 14:57] Sapphire: "Switched sides?" Seneca gasps. "What possible logic could enter her mind to do so? That doesn't even make sense under the terms of Wizards War, by oath she'd still be our ally..." He pauses, rubbing his chin. "Making it a high crime to slay her, but with a countervailing argument of betrayal, I'd feel good about arguing the point at tribunal."
[2026/08/04 14:58] Mecha: I tried to get her to see reason. She was hell bent on killing the prisoner and then Pythagora before the war and when I went in to intercept we argued and she offered to join pythagora.
[2026/08/04 14:59] Mecha: Pythagora acepted and I just gave up on her, and left her and pythagora safely in a pit to get themselves out of and brought the prisoner here.
[2026/08/04 15:00] Sonja Bikergrrl: Olivar: "But, she hates Pythagoras. She has a sketch hanging on a wall, she throws darts at it."
[2026/08/04 15:00] Sapphire: "Who of course accepts because why turn down a volunteer turncoat," he nods. "Unless you expected treason again, which, for someone who discards loyalty at a moments notice, is likely. My, she really has left herself with no allies she can afford to trust at this juncture."

[2026/08/04 15:14] Sapphire: Seneca steps forwards, "A simple binding of wounds spell. It will ensure you last the day while our medic gets prepared." He then moves to incant a Creo Corpus spell, "Fillia, take note of the method, even if you're no longer my apprentice."
[2026/08/04 15:15] Mecha: Sarah Looks at Jaques and smiles."Please make sure Taggart is fed. Before looking around."Syra is a wild card in all of this now. There are times she has an idea and runs with it without cluing me or others in on and I end up confused but the action is successful."

[2026/08/04 15:16] Sonja Bikergrrl: Olivar looks dubious, but knows that to Taggart, two apples will be a welcome addition to prison fare
[2026/08/04 15:17] Sapphire: The spell patches up the burn wounds with stony facimilies of skin, holding him together enough to move about without active penalty. Sarah would know that come sundown, all the unhealed injury will come right back to him.
[2026/08/04 15:18] Sapphire: The next tens of minutes involve moving him to a carved out room that tilts down into the mountain, with a barrable door on the front of it, plus a bench and chamber pot to have around.
[2026/08/04 15:19] Sonja Bikergrrl: Olivar: sees the wounds dealt with. "Come, mon ami, the jail is not luxurious but it is far from Syra."

Of *course* the earth mages have miles of tunnels under them, altered and moved around on occasion, connecting to a natural cave complex as well. That's actually where Seneca's Lab is, deep in the mystic heart of the earth.
[2026/08/04 15:24] Mecha: Sarah nods."Okay we will need to move things in case Syra decides to use the burning pig attack on us if she has truly changed sides
[2026/08/04 15:25] Sonja Bikergrrl: Olivar (shudders) *thinks, doesn't say* "Burning pigs! The very devil!"
[2026/08/04 15:26] Sapphire: "Hmmm. And ideally making them *think* it has worked," Seneca nods. "I'll ensure that any such tunnels they might use don't lead to dangerous places."

[2026/08/04 15:35] Mecha: While Olivar is asking Questions Sarah is now trying to hammer out a plan for this war.
[2026/08/04 15:36] Sapphire: "No fighting yet, so we're in high spirits," he answers. "I didn't see the reserves but a month of time isn't that much. Quick and easy bags of silver long as we don't die, you know?"
