A wide, well-trodden trail slices through the devastation, leading toward the nearby village, heavy with the echoes of hurried and awkward passage. The scent of iron mingles with the earthy aroma of upheaved soil, hinting at the recent violence that has marred the landscape. Here and there, patches of a dark, viscous liquid glisten ominously on the ground — dragon blood!
